These are a few of my favorite things {studio edition}

Old Holland, colour since 1664.
I first discovered Old Holland as a student in painting from a classmate who was hardcore about grinding his own pigment, he said Old Holland was the next best thing. It turns out he's right, Old Holland contains twice as much pigment as other artist grade colours, and they still use the traditional stone ground method over rollers. The tubes are lead rather than aluminium to reduce oxidization and decay, this combined with the extra pigment gives a nice heavy weight in the hand.

Hot Press. I am in the minority here, but there is really nothing like 100% cotton rag hot press paper, it is smooth so the paint just glides, with a bit of fiber to grip, and it smells really good when wet.
You Work For Them type foundry. Easy to navigate, not overwhelming, highly curated collection of typefaces. Their work is thrilling.
Happy Tape. Tape can indeed make you happy.
Happy tape is made of Japanese washi paper, tears easily, is really pretty, and makes gift giving that much more fun. I buy gifts for people in order to use my Happy Tape.

Sakura Coupy-Pencil. Fow when you are ever in a rut, afraid to make a mark, the Coupy-Pencil cuts right though exposing your non-serious side. Essential.
