As anyone living in New England right now knows, we have had an anomalously grey June. Summers in New England are, if not quite hot, bright & sunny with the smell of beach roses and salt air permeating every home. Not so this year. I have spent the last week complaining about the weather, which just leaves one feeling hopeless and depressed. Today instead I tried to see the unique beauty the light quality provides, and as long as this pattern persists, I will insist on capturing the silver lining.
