The new issue of Small Magazine was published today and I've spent hours pouring over it and clicking every possible link. One of the items I found that took my breath away was this pair of trunks from Periwinkle Bloom. Organic cotton, hand sewn, with buttons, I'm tempted to tag this image as "art" because, isn't it?

February's Playmate of the Month is Giant Leopold (know to his friends a Leo) by Blabla. He is indeed giant at five feet tall, very cuddly, expressive, and made in Peru of natural fibers.
Today's Toy of the Hour is PlanToy's Sorting Train. It is great for recognising shapes and color, and is simple enough not to frustrate the 18 month old (though the recommended age is 2+). PlanToys are made from natural, chemical free rubber wood and finished with non-toxic and child friendly colors.
